Great place. Staff was super nice and not rushed at all. I had the dry spare ribs. Spare ribs have to be done perfectly for me, otherwise the meat just doesn't come off the bone as easy and sometimes I feel like you waste a lot. Not these. Cooked to perfection.

We stopped here on a road trip. It exceeded our expectations better than other bbq joints because their food was fresh quality ingredients, nothing fried. I got the smoked brisket bowl and was thrilled with my choice. The food and service were quick and friendly.

WOW. Fantastic BBQ. Best ribs I've ever had in the world. Ever. Anywhere. Hogwood is worth going out of your way for. I don't write that often these days and am very seldom impressed. Hogwood impressed.

YES! Brisket sandwich was delicious, super tender. I love that they offer a white sauce (my fave) and not just traditional bbq. The sides (we tried beans, Mac and coleslaw) were all great. They also pass out free mini moon pies when you finish your meal, which is a sweet touch.

We ordered the Hogwood Sandwich (pulled pork) and Colorado Sandwich (brisket). Both were AMAZING. The meats are all smoked in house and the beef brisket is sliced to order. It was tender, juicy and Smokey. I loved that this sandwich is loaded up - it's messy but delicious.

Listen, if you know me personally, I REALLY love both brisket and mac and cheese. If it's on the menu, I will most likely get it. Hogwood does a fantastic job at making both.

Came here for the first time this past December with my wife and sister in law. My sis in law told us about this place so we had to try it and we were blown away! I got the brisket sandwich and it was so good! Coming from Texas, I definitely know my bbq brisket and I can say this was superb!

Yummy barbeque! It's an order and sit place that has a good selection of barbeque and sides! I had the pulled pork and it was good - what was really awesome were the icebox pickles (so yummy).

Wonderful fantastic brisket - just like Texas. Emily and team are great hospitable neighbors and thoughtful about what they serve. The sides are all excellent - all perfect with their outstanding brisket. Get to know this gem of a restaurant in Cool Springs. You will love it.

OMG, the absolute best brisket and grits I've ever had!!! Pork is great and so is the stubborn cherry cola. Wow!! Can't wait to come back and try different stuff!

This place had delicious food! I got the pulled pork sandwich and Mac n cheese. Hogwood reminds me of Dickey's bbq in a way but their bbq sauce and sides are different. If you're looking for good bbq at a decent price, this place is THE spot.
